Let me tell you, this kit saved our snowboarding experience! The cleaning kit included sand paper for polishing the edge and a wax apron to keep us clean while working. It was great to have all the necessary tools in one convenient kit.
The iron that came with the kit was a game changer. It had adjustable temperature settings and a thick soleplate that provided stable heat distribution. We were able to adjust the temperature range from 100℃/ 212 ℉-170℃/338℉ according to the type of wax we were using. Plus, the iron was easy to use and heated up quickly which saved us time.
The 100g wax that came with the kit worked like magic on our snowboards. Despite the varying temperatures on different days of our trip (-5°-15°), this wax kept our snowboards gliding smoothly. We could use it about 12 times before running out which is pretty impressive for one small package.
One of my favorite features of this kit was the edge trimming and frosting combination tools. The 4 PTEX (2 black and 2 clear) were perfect for repairing any scratches on our boards while the files helped sharpen the edges. The Edge Tuner was also super helpful as it allowed us to adjust the side edge angle accurately to 1° (86 /87/88/89 °). Plus, all these tools came in a handy storage bag which made it easy to carry around.
