Why I Can’t Play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch Without a Controller
As an avid Fortnite player, I was thrilled when the game was released on the Nintendo Switch. The idea of being able to play my favorite game on-the-go was exciting. However, after trying to play with just the Joy-Con controllers, I quickly realized that it was not a feasible option.
Firstly, the Joy-Cons are too small and difficult to maneuver for a fast-paced game like Fortnite. The buttons are too close together, making it easy to press the wrong one in the heat of battle. This resulted in many frustrating deaths and hindered my gameplay experience.
Moreover, playing with just one Joy-Con in each hand also limits my control and precision in aiming and building. It’s hard to perform complex building techniques or make precise shots without a proper controller.
But most importantly, playing with just Joy-Cons is uncomfortable and straining for extended periods of time. As someone who plays Fortnite for hours on end, my hands would start to cramp and ache from holding the small controllers for so long.
